On April 2022, MK Energy designing, sourcing, developing, installing, operating, managing and maintaining the fuel bunkering system at the site.
Manage the renovation of old bunker station building at Puteri Harbour. We manage a renovation of old bunker station building which includes bund wall touch up, lighting replacement and signage board installation. The lighting equipment purchasing and installation were carried out.
T he signage board to be installed at the bunker. The signage boards were needed to ensure this
bunker can operate with the authorization of fire department.
Since, the operation Puteri Harbour Ferry Terminal was near to start, we need to be prepared to start our operation. Unfortunately, the existing piping was rusted and having a high risk to be used, we need to replace it with a new piping. During this task, trainee was assigned to manage the piping works that will be done at Puteri Harbour. Briefly, trainee constructed the method statement that will be reviewed by Terminal management and monitor the work progress until it finished. The workforce for this time was only two pipe fitters.
After the piping works was done, it came to the stage where we install the dispenser component
that will be transferring oil from tank to boats or ships. Dispenser components are include pump, flowmeter and nozzle. During this task was done, trainee was helped by one other worker who are also a bunker crew.
